How do I load a Traktor map?
Install
- Launch Traktor, open the Preferences, and click on the Controller Manager Tab,
- Under Device Setup, click the Add button and select from the pull down menu Import TSI > Import Other.
- Navigate to Traktor’s settings folder and select the TSI file you want to install.
Can I use any controller with Traktor?

What is a .TSI file?
TSI is a file extension commonly associated with Traktor Settings Format files. Traktor Settings Format specification was created by Native Instruments. TSI files are supported by software applications available for devices running Mac OS, Windows.
How do I export a Traktor map?
To export a MIDI mapping, press the edit button and select export. In this popup window, give the mapping a name and press save. Now you have a mapping file that you can share with your friends, or backup in case you need to install Traktor on another computer.
How do I map a controller on Traktor?
Creating a Generic MIDI Mapping
- Connect your controller and power it up.
- Launch TRAKTOR.
- Open the Preferences menu and go to Controller Manager.
- Click on the Add…
- This will create an empty MIDI mapping named Generic MIDI.
- Set the values for In-Port and Out-Port to the corresponding MIDI port name of your controller.
