Originally opened in 1977 with just six rides, Wild Waves Theme & Water Park now spans 70 acres including more than 50 thrilling rides and attractions, four roller coasters and a huge water park with 500,000-gallon wave pool.
How old do you have to be to go to Wild Waves alone?
They need to watch the water at all times. Children under 12 years and younger must be accompanied by a responsible 16 year old (or older). By seeking admission, park guests give permission to Wild Water Adventure Park to photograph and/or take video footage, for any purpose without payment to them.
What should I wear to Wild Waves?
For the health and safety of our guests: shirts and pants/shorts are REQUIRED on ALL theme park attractions (amusement rides). Please note that while shoes are not allowed in pools, or on water slides, shoes are required to be worn on all attractions beyond the water park.
Can I bring food to wild waves?
No outside food or beverages are allowed inside the park. Yes, an admission ticket is required to enter the park. Don’t worry, besides the thrills and chills of the waterslides, there are plenty of less daring attractions and family play areas.

Why did wild waves cancel their holiday lights?
In addition to the early inclement weather, Wild Waves also canceled the event this year due to low attendance in prior years, the company stated on their Facebook page. The business also stated they are unsure if they will have Holiday with Lights in 2020.
