Can you clean MagnaClean yourself?

The pump should be on the flow side, so assuming that is correct then I would guess the horizontal pipe on the left is the return. The perfect place for it should be on the return, however, to do that will need a couple of bends in the pipe and you may not have enough room.

How do I service a Magnaclean:
- Turn off all components in the heating system electrically.
- Close the valves on the Magnaclean.
- Release the pressure using the bleed screw.
- Unscrew the lid and turn upside down.
- Wrap the debris in a cloth and remove the magnet.
- Clean the debris away.
