Is the chaperone a good shotgun?
Great for skilled aimers in PVP, it’s ok in PVE. Chaperone is deadly. The range and damage this slug shotgun has out of the gate is high, but once you get a precision kill this weapon gains a MAJOR boost to damage, range, handling, reload speed, AND fire rate. Not half bad for PvE either.
Is the chaperone still good Destiny 2?
No other Shotgun in Destiny 2 can come close to matching Chaperone’s range. If you can get used to landing headshots on Guardians with your Shotgun, the Chaperone is arguably the best PvP Shotgun in Destiny 2. Since this weapon does have a skill gap, we have to put it under the top spot.
