It’s after they experienced yet more flooding in the village after recent heavy rainfall. On Friday, June 18, heavy rainfall hit Buckden and residents frantically had to clear water by many means including using paddling pool pumps, filling up green bins and dragging them down Buckden High Street.

We will be starting essential maintenance work on the A64 Malton Bypass between Musley Bank and Brambling Fields, on Monday 02 August 2021. We expect to finish work on Thursday 23 September 2021. We will be replacing sections of safety barriers to maintain and improve safety. We will also renew some road signs and cut back vegetation.
