Shipment insurance covers the full value of your goods against all risks. Every shipment we accept is covered by standard global conventions as specified in our Terms & Conditions. With TNT’s shipment insurance, there’s no need to use a separate insurance provider.
Can I refuse a delivery from TNT?
TNT reserves the right to refuse Packages or Shipments that TNT considers unsuitable or ‘extra-large’ as further detailed in the guidelines on preparing your Shipment on tnt.com.

How many delivery attempts do TNT make?

Who pays refused package?
Many postal customers believe that they may accept, open and then refuse a parcel marked “Return Service Requested”. The placement of the return service endorsement on mailpieces constitutes, in part, a pledge by the sender that they will pay return postage if the pieces are refused by the addressee.
Can I refuse a delivery?
You don’t have to accept the delivery or any package that you either did not request it or you don’t want it. You can refuse the delivery in person when the courier arrives at your address or have someone else do it on your behalf. Don’t open it because, for some courier companies, this might indicate the acceptance.

What is secure delivery?

Do TNT deliver passports on Saturdays?
We are unable to offer specific time slots for the delivery of your document, all deliveries are made between 8 am and 8 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday. To arrange a convenient delivery date, please visit our track page.
How long does passport take after dispatch?
It generally takes between one week to 10 days from the status first displayed. So you should received another status within two or three days: “Your passport has been dispatched “.
What do you need to know to send a package to TNT?
For international Shipments, the Sender’s address must state the country in which the Shipment is tendered to TNT. Sender must affix the Waybill and any other required labels (e.g. heavy weight) in a prominent position on the outer surface of the Shipment that can be clearly seen.
What does TNT mean by ” enhanced liability “?
“ Enhanced Liability ” means that value, if applicable, indicated by the Sender on the Waybill, constituting the maximum amount of TNT liability in circumstances where TNT is liable under an applicable Convention or local law, in connection with the Shipment for which the Sender pays the required fee.
What happens in the event of late payment to TNT?
6.4 In the event of late payment, TNT reserves the right to apply a late payment fee, late payment interest and administrative costs for such late payment. In such event, TNT may apply the applicable fee (s), costs and/or interest rate (s) as determined by TNT and in accordance with any applicable EU or local late payment laws.
What does TNT mean by delivery commitment time?
“ Delivery Commitment Time ” means the published delivery commitment time for the TNT service or the delivery commitment time quoted by TNT customer service for that Shipment, which takes into account the commodity being shipped, the date, precise destination, weight and value of the Shipment.
