What is defueling on tuner?

Defueling is essentially setting a parameter at which the tuner will cut back fuel so that you don’t exceed said set parameter. Typically they’re set for boost levels, EGT’s, coolant temp, trans temp.

Defueling mode would limit fuel so temps wouldnt go over the set limit, so if if the coolant temp is set at 210 then it would limit fuel to make sure the motor doesnt over heat.
