Are 10 and 11 speed hubs the same?
The Shimano (and SRAM) 11-speed freehub is wider than the 10-speed one, because the 11-speed Shimano (and SRAM) cogset stack height is taller than 10-speed.
Will my hub fit 11 speed?

Some, but not all rear hub bodies, allow for the easy replacement/swapping of freehub bodies so, for example, you could switch between a Shimano and SRAM XD driver cassette attachment interface. And indeed, mode of cassette attachment is one of the key differentiators when shopping freehub bodies.

Can you put SRAM freehub on a Shimano hub?
This means you can’t put a SRAM freehub body onto a Shimano hub. It is best to stick within the brand to get the right body. If you have a DT Swiss rear hub shell, then you’ll want to get a DT Swiss freehub. Some brands, like Campagnolo, use a specific Campagnolo freehub body that is different than Shimano and SRAM.
Can a Zipp 188 be converted to a Shimano 11 speed?
In case one wonders why I did not convert the Zipp 188 hub from Shimano 10-speed to Shimano 11-speed: it’s not possible, the V7 of Zipp’s 188 hub is not convertible to Shimano 11-speed!!! The Campagnolo freehub body appears authentic and of Zipp quality, and, it appears that all parts were included.
