Is a Dyna Low Rider a good bike?
If you want a powerful, great looking, no frills, basic bike, then this is for you. Comfortable enough to enjoy some longer trips and not so bulky that you can’t drive it around town. For me it’s the perfect combination. The six speed transmission is one of my favorite things about this bike, very smooth.

Why did Harley Davidson discontinue the Dyna?
So why did Harley® stop making Dyna? The Dyna frame had a rubber mounted, non-counter-balanced engine with twin external rear shocks. Harley® research showed people wanted the improved performance the manufacturer now offers from the Milwaukee-Eight® engines solidly mounted and twin counterbalanced in the Softail line.

Suspension and tyre sizes have been beefed up on very recent models but its still basic, old school motorcycling.
