How much is wine tasting at Caymus?
Our tasting hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Tasting fee is $50/person.
Is Caymus worth the money?
Caymus’ wines aren’t worth as much on the secondary market as Opus One in part because these wines aren’t quite as rare. Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection is worth about $200 to $250 per bottle (although top-quality and older vintages are frequently worth significantly more).
Does Caymus have a wine club?
We were just at Caymus and they told us they do not have wine Clubs. Sometimes you can find a wholesaler with a “club” that includes wines that they sell at a “member price”.

Young vintages of their red wine can be decanted for 1-3 hours, depending on the character of the vintage. This allows the wine to soften and open its perfume.
