Builders of above-average quality instruments. Cramer has not had the same reputation as the other top British makers, but we like the solid construction and excellent tone with deep bass. They have produced some art-cased instruments. We have restored many such pianos over the years.

Is Wurlitzer a good piano brand?
Wurlitzer pianos are considered to be extremely durable. Wurlitzer pianos may not be considered to be on the same level as Steinway, Mason & Hamlin, or Yamaha but they are considered to be solid instruments. A good middle ground between quality and value.
How can I find the history of my piano?
1) On the piano’s cast iron plate. After lifting up the lid, look along the top front area of the plate. The serial number may be to the right or the left, or in the middle. 2) Under the opened lid on the ledge, stamped on a little plaque, to the right or to the left.
Is Bechstein as good as Steinway?

Why did Wurlitzer stop making pianos?
Baldwin ceased making Wurlitzer-brand pianos in 2009. Vending machines are still manufactured in Germany using the Wurlitzer name under Gibson ownership. The company ceased manufacturing jukeboxes in 2013, but still sells replacement parts….Wurlitzer.

Are old pianos better than new?
Are old pianos better than new ones? The answer is: it depends. Old pianos can continue to sound wonderful for many years with regular maintenance and care, but even pianos that have deteriorated can often be restored to their former glory, and in many cases made to sound even better than when they were new.
