What should I do before and after sugar waxing?

Pre & Post Sugaring Care

Exfoliate the skin a minimum of 2 days before your appointment.
Do not moisturize by putting creams or lotions on the area that will be receiving treatment.
Do not apply deodorant if getting underarms sugared.
For best results, hair should be at least a 1/4 of an inch long.

How long do you leave sugar wax on?

Pour it in a bowl or jar and give it about 30 minutes to cool down. If it still feels hot or warm enough to be uncomfortable, let it cool for several more minutes before proceeding.

Is sugaring good for your skin?

24 hours after sugaring treatment, you should avoid the following:

Do not apply any scented lotions or creams.
Do not exfoliate the skin for 48 hours after treatment.
Deodorant (if you had underarms sugared)
Heat (including saunas, steam rooms and hot yoga studios)
Direct sunlight, tanning beds and infrared lamps.

Is Bleeding After sugaring normal?
