Can I reuse Kilner jar lids?
The simple answer is no: Canning lids are designed for one-time use. Using them more than once may result in your jars not sealing properly. So, if your jars fail to seal properly the first time, you have to put fresh lids on your jars before you reprocess them.
Can you Seal jars with plastic lids?
The problem is solved with these plastic storage caps. They fit right onto the canning jars and are dishwasher and freezer safe. They form a tight seal and are especially useful as dry storage for rice, pasta, or flour.
Why use plastic mason jar lids?

What kind of Jars can you use for canning?
