Actually, you only needed to work your Smithing up to 50 – Nordic Carved is tied to Advanced Armors, after all. 🙂 (the weapons, of course, are only equal to Elven). I think it is because Carved Nordic armor was added in the Dragonborn DLC….Carved Nordic vs. Ebony armour – Am I missing something?
