Are the cottages at Crystal Cove open?
The Park: Crystal Cove State Park parking lots, trails and beaches are open for use. Reservations for these and all cottages at Crystal Cove State Park are booked through Reserve California. Crystal Cove Conservancy and Crystal Cove Beach Cottages cannot directly make or cancel cottage reservations.
How do I get a reservation at Crystal Cove Cottages?
Reservations can be made online at ReserveCalifornia.com or by calling 800.444. 7275 – seven days a week between 8AM and 6PM, PST (Except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years’ Day). Reserve California’s reservation system is based on a daily rolling window.
How much does it cost to stay at Crystal Cove?
The average rate per Individual Cottage, based on four (4) guests, is $228 per night. There is an additional charge of $34 per person per night for additional guests up to the maximum occupancy allowed per cottage. Dorm-Style (Private Cottage Rooms) base rate average is approximately $75.

We invite you to experience Crystal Cove as it existed from 1935 to 1955 in one of our 24 cottages. With fourteen individual cottages and ten dorm-style cottages with private rooms there’s something for everyone.

What time does the park open/close? The park opens at 6am and closes at sunset with the exception of the Historic District which closes at 10pm.
Can you swim at Crystal Cove?
Crystal Cove Swimming Beaches The sandy bottom slopes away to great swimming waters with usually mild surf. Access is via the Reef Point entrance. An alternate approach is to park at the lower lots at El Moro, pass through the tunnel to the beach, and then head north.
