Is Goodwill accepting donations in Missouri?
Goodwill graciously accepts your donations at any of our stores and donation centers, however, we are no longer accepting furniture items that are larger than 40″. MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries changes lives in our community by selling the items that are so generously donated.
Does goodwill have a drop box?
Goodwill donation centers and bins can be found all over the country. If you’re not near one of their famous blue boxes, many Goodwill donation centers offer pickup services for items that are too large for the donors themselves to transport, such as furniture.
When can I donate to Goodwill?
We are open for donations with day, evening and weekend hours to make it convenient. Donating to Goodwill gives you the satisfaction of knowing that when you’re finished cleaning and sorting, it’s just one quick trip to your neighborhood Goodwill Store & Donation Center to be done!
Does goodwill take donations on Monday?
Donation Centers will be closed on Monday and Tuesday until further notice. The reduced schedule will allow our staff to process the tremendous amount of donations we have received. Retail stores will remain open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Do you have to wash clothes before donating to Goodwill?
Prepare Items for Drop Off Donation Goodwill does not prepare items before they sell them. They don’t wash clothes, wipe off dirt or dust from items, or put in missing screws or parts that some items need. You also should make sure that clothes are washed and clean before giving them away to a Goodwill store.
Does Goodwill Take throw pillows?
Linens and Textiles A very common question is, “Does Goodwill take pillows?” The answer is yes, and no. We welcome decorative and throw pillows, but not pillows used for sleeping. Beyond that specific request, we welcome clean and stain-free linen and textiles including: Bedspreads, blankets, sheets, and towels.
