What is a Fazor?
Audeze has developed a patented technology to combat this interference, which we call the “Fazor™”. Each Fazor element is placed just outside the magnets that drive the diaphragm, allowing the sound waves out in a more even and parallel direction, reducing interference and diffraction, or scattering of sound waves.
How do you use Audeze reveal?
Setting up Reveal in Logic
- Select an empty plugin slot, then locate the Reveal plugin under Audio Units>Audeze>Reveal>Stereo in the dropdown menu:
- Once the plugin has been activated, the Graphic User Interface (GUI) should automatically open, allowing you to select the appropriate preset for your Audeze headphone.
What is a planar headphone?
Planar magnetic headphones (sometimes called orthodynamic or isodynamic) can be considered to have elements of both dynamic and electrostatic headphones. A conductive diaphragm is sandwiched between an array of magnets to create a planar driver which can take be either round or square.
Is Audeze reveal free?
The Reveal plugin is available at no cost for macOS (10.10 and above) and Windows (7 and above) and is compatible with most Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) or playback software that supports AU, VST or AAX plugins.
