In truth, Noel suffers from amnesia, and is actually Mu-12, a Murakumo Unit created by Relius Clover, the predecessor of Nu-13 and the final boss in the console version of Continuum Shift. After being rescued by Ragna, Noel seeks out Rachel in Chrono Phantasma, who helps her learn to control her powers as Mu.
