Can a Strat sound heavy?
It’s very possible to get a metal sound out of a strat. I’m sticking to clean stuff for the most part, but I’ve toyed around with the dark side. On my cousin’s setup my SSS strat can wail, but at home I have to use a pedal to delve into the deeper stuff. My amp has some effects mods but they suck pretty bad.
