Is there an end to FTL?
Beyond just the default Flagship defeat, FTL: Multiverse has a host of alternate endings you can complete. These sometimes give a score boost as well.
What is the flagship in FTL?
The Flagship weapons are artillery systems, working just like the Federation Cruiser artillery system, but with different base charge times. Damaging the system slows down the weapon. In phase 1 and 2, they have 3 system levels. In phase 3, they have 4 levels.

Is FTL a switch?
We have no official plans for a Switch port at this time. Playing FTL on a gamepad, or on a small touch screen, is not practical.
How do you beat normal FTL?
You want a second laser ASAP, by the end of sector 3. And by the end, you should have at least 2 burst lasers and 2 bombs. With 3 burst lasers and 1 bomb, the flagship should be child’s play. Dodge missiles with cloak, take out triple missiles with boarding crew, break shields/kill crew with bombs, and you will win.

Is FTL real time?
Although you can pause at anytime, FTL’s combat mechanics are real-time. Still, because you can pause and weapons take a while to charge, it almost has a turn-based feel.
