KoJa Kitchen started in 2011 as collaboration between owners Alan Tsai, Eric Thai, Mike Hayashi and myself. Our backgrounds were in the Tech and Finance industries – we had no culinary experience. Alan Tsai was cooking as his hobby and developed the rice burger concept and we all loved it.
