Is SNS profile compatible with pilot?
SNS Profil and SNS Pilot boots are not compatible with the same bindings!
What is SNS Pilot?
SNS PILOT – the boot is connected to the ski via two metal rods. NNN NIS – NIS means a Nordic integrated system, which was developed by Rottefella, Madshus, and Rossignol. NIS is the plate integrated into the ski. Then you can add NNN bindings just via the click-on system without any drilling into the ski.
Are SNS bindings still made?
The old SNS binding (Salomon should have changed the name completely when they designed their bindings, but that’s old news) is no longer available, you can’t buy it and be careful about buying old boots that use it.

With most modern flat decked skis its generally possible to change the binding system by removing the old binding and mounting (drilling and screwing) a new binding system onto the ski deck. If the ski has had several bindings mounted on it already it might not be possible to squeeze a new set of holes in.
What are SNS bindings?

Will Prolink boots work with SNS bindings?
They are continuing to sell SNS bindings and boots but have added their Prolink binding to the lineup, which is compatible with boots that currently fit NNN. They are also making all of their boots in both an SNS and a Prolink sole. The boots will be exactly the same except for the outsole.

What kind of skis are compatible with SNS bindings?
So, the closest we could find was a pair Solomon Equipe Vitane boots with the SNS Pilot binding. These boots are backwards compatible with SNS bindings, so our daughter can ski on her mother’s old skis. However, our daughter needed new skis, and we were out of old skis from which to scavenge old SNS skate bindings.
