In case there isn’t any github repository then i have created a github repository for those tools with their binaries on Github.com/PentestBox. So the “update” command updates the source code of all the tools, so tools are updated whether you download latest version or not.

What makes Pentest box different from other Linux distributions?
PentestBox is not like any other linux pentesting distribution which either runs in a virtual machine or on a dual boot envrionment. It essentially provides all the security tools as a software package and lets you run them natively on Windows.
