Suffolk Young People’s Health Project (also known as 4YP) is a local charity, which provides and coordinates services that improve the social, emotional, and physical health and wellbeing of young people in Suffolk, aged 12-25.

This may be offered at 4YP (14 Lower Brook Street, Ipswich), or in one of the other locations where we work, including many schools. Counsellors follow British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) guidelines. Please note, this is not a drop-in service. Please call 4YP to make a referral for counselling.

4YP runs various day and evening group sessions that provide opportunities to chill out, have fun, make friends, let off steam, chat and ask questions or even join us as a volunteer. There’s always plenty to do and no two weeks are the same.

When do young people walk in at 4yp?

4YP is an open-access centre. This means you can literally open the door and walk in any time between 10am-5pm each weekday. Our Young People’s Workers and volunteers are at hand with advice, guidance and support when you need it.
