What kind of vinyl do you use for sunglasses?
Sticky vinyl: Be sure to use permanent vinyl when adding to glass instead of the removable version. Unless, of course, you are doing something for say a party where you want to remove it later. Permanent vinyl has the best results for lasting as long as possible.
Can you use a Cricut on sunglasses?
‘ Since the sunglasses were teal, I cut all the girls names in white vinyl. Cut each name out of the vinyl with your Cricut and weed the excess out using the weeder tool. Then remove the back paper, apply the vinyl to the sunglasses and slowly remove the transfer tape. Repeat for all of the sunglasses & you’re done!
Whats the difference between 651 and 631 vinyl?
The main difference between 651 and 631 is going to fall in the adhesive on the vinyl and the finish on the vinyl. Oracal 631 has a matte finish on it – meaning it does not have the glossy sheen to it, it also has a lighter adhesive so it is best used indoors and can be removed faily easily.
