Access to Ford Island is controlled at the entry control point on the Ford Island Bridge. Under normal THREATCON, personnel with a valid DoD sticker and DoD identification will be allowed access onto Ford Island. ID cards of military members from allied nations are honored for base access purposes.

Safe, structured, professional, and friendly environment. The hotel rooms themselves are ok. No glitz and glamour. The full kitchen is the big seller for our family. The shopette is lacking, has mostly beer, drinks, and a small selection of snacks.
Is there WiFi at the Ford Island Hotel?
They were all very sweet. Ford Island is absolutely beautiful and the entire hotel property is well maintained. The WiFi isn’t the best but it was working much better once 2 large families with many kids left the hotel. The Papa Johns in Target delivers if anyone wanted pizza during their stay.
