GR10Q is a 4pin base type commonly found on 2D compact fluorescent and LED lamps. They are most often used in industrial and commercial settings, but have domestic applications as well. The 2 pin has its own built in starter and the 4 pin lamp is configured to use with external electronic control gear either of the standard or high frequency type.
