GR10Q is a 4pin base type commonly found on 2D compact fluorescent and LED lamps. They are most often used in industrial and commercial settings, but have domestic applications as well. GR10Q light bulbs can be found in torchiere fixtures, ceiling fixtures, stairwells, corridors, and emergency lights.

The 2 pin has its own built in starter and the 4 pin lamp is configured to use with external electronic control gear either of the standard or high frequency type.
