If you need to identify a kanji that’s accessible via your computer you just copy it (that’s ctrl+c or cmd+c after selecting said kanji) and then past it (that’s ctrl+v or cmd+v) into the dictionary of your choice. For me, when it comes to simple stuff like this, my dictionary of choice is jisho.org.
