How do you wash disana wool?
It’s best to hand wash in your bathroom’s sink. It has the right volume and an ergonomic working height. You also need a mild wool shampoo or a natural baby shampoo. Wash with Luke warm water (25 Degrees), add the wool shampoo and mixer into the water, then add the woollen item to be washed.
Can you over Lanolize wool?
Avoid over lanolizing your wool. if your wool is gummy or sticking after it is dry, you have over-lanolized. One of the benefits of wool is that it can absorb up to 1/3 of its weight in liquid. When you over-lanolize, the wool is not only fully waterproof, but it is unable to absorb any liquid.

People with chemically sensitivities often are ok with Disana wool in natural even when other wools bother them. The standards for Disana wool are even purer than other pure wool projects. It is washed only in natural soap, but not detergent.
Do you wash boiled wool diaper cover first?
