First off, Heart’s Desire Beach in NOT in Point Reyes Station. You have to head west from there through Inverness and into the national seashore towards Pierce Point. It is in Tomales State Park. This is a wonderful place to take your young kids for a swim on a hot day. It’s quite shallow for a long way out.
