How can I use PTCL modem as WiFi?
PTCL Modem as a Wifi Router:
- Login to PTCL admin panel via ( 192.168. 1.1 or 192.168. 10.1 ).
- Username (admin) and password (admin).
- Go to Advanced Setup > LAN.
- Change IP address (if 192.168. 1.1 change to 192.168. 10.1) and vise versa.
- Click Apply/save. .
Is PTCL modem free?
Yes. PTCL broadband internet is charged on monthly basis and is for broadband service only, i.e. an addition to your monthly telephone charges.
How can I get PTCL router?
Open web browser and type “192.168. 10.1” to get the access of the modem. Following window will pop up; input user name “admin” and password in printed at sticker on the bottom panel of modem(default password is last 5 digits of MAC address). If the connections are Ok, you will be directed to following page.
