Don’t feel bad about purchasing the GKN it is a VERY good axle (IMO the best one). It’s the one I always recommend to people. The outer boots obvious is the #1 thing to go on the axels but the inner axle on the cheaper brands are soft and again will fail on some point.

I would have redone my original axles, but they were really seized into the splines and during the removal process the threads for the axle nut got all mangled.
