How can I get my Smart Serve certificate online?
Online Training
- Takes about 4 hours.
- You can stop/start your training.
- Your progress is saved as you learn.
- You must complete the Training and Final Test within 30 days.
- You will have two (2) attempts at the Final Test.
- Your Final Test will be Proctored.
How long does it take to complete smart serve?
The training course and test take approximately 3-4 hours. Once you’ve taken the training, the test itself can be done in 30-45 minutes. If you score 80% or higher and pass the integrity check.
Is Smart Serve free now?
The period of free enrollment to the Smart Serve Responsible Alcohol Sales and Service Training Program has now ended. We thank all participants and Smart Serve for their partnership. The responsible service program continues to be available at the regular cost of $34.95 + tax.
What is Smart Serve program?
The Smart Serve Responsible Alcohol Beverage Sales & Service Training Program is approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) as the only responsible alcohol training program for Ontario. Smart Serve is a dedicated advocate for a safer and healthier Ontario.
Is the Smart Serve test proctor?
All Final Tests are completed online and will be Proctored. You will be required to allow access to your web camera for I.D. verification and test monitoring purposes. You can launch your test any time – 24/7.
What score to pass Smart Serve?
80% or higher
Once a Token is redeemed, the course must be completed within 30 days and participants/students must receive a passing score of 80% or higher and pass the proctor review, before being issued a Smart Serve certificate.
What happens if you fail smart serve twice?
Any rules broken will result in a FAILED session and require you to re-purchase and complete the entire course again.
Does a smart serve expire?
Recertify training: All SMART Training certifications are valid for 5 years. To recertify or renew your training, we ask that you sign into the account you already have in our system.
How old for Smart Serve Ontario?
18 years of age or older
You can take the training course at any age. However, you must be 18 years of age or older to serve, sell, or handle alcohol in the province of Ontario.
