What is Ziptrak made of?
Ziptrak® offers a fully enclosed option made of extruded aluminium: the Ziptrak® Streamline Pelmet. This pelmet was engineered to withstand the toughest conditions, its design protects the underlying system from the elements, ensuring the blinds will look great and operate flawlessly for years.

Can Ziptrak keep aircon in?
Ziptrak® blinds can be very effective in keeping in cold air, but they should not be expected to keep in cold air completely.
Does Ziptrak reduce noise?
Will Ziptrak® blinds reduce external noise? It depends on the blind fabric that you choose. Porous fabrics do not provide significant reduction of external noise.
Can Ziptrak keep out rain?
Ziptrak® blinds can be very effective in keeping out rain but it does not guarantee 100% watertightness. For track-guided blinds, the amount of rain protection will be largely determined by the fabric you choose. However, in heavy rain and windy conditions, some water may still enter via the Ziptrak® system.
Are Ziptrak waterproof?
Will Ziptrak® blinds keep out rain completely? Ziptrak® blinds can be very effective in keeping out rain but it does not guarantee 100% watertightness. For track-guided blinds, the amount of rain protection will be largely determined by the fabric you choose.

Does Ziptrak block wind?
If you prefer to have some airflow, but primarily block sun and glare, then Ziptrak® with weave fabrics will be most effective. Weave fabrics can also block a high degree of wind and rain (up to about 96%), whilst also somewhat maintaining the temperature within your space.
How big of an opening can I Cover with ziptrak?
If you’re looking to cover an opening wider than 6m, the Ziptrak® removable post is the perfect solution. Split your opening into different sections, providing more options, such as a smaller opening that acts as a door to your backyard. Ask your retailer for their recommendation on how to effectively design your openings.
Do You need A pelmet to install ziptrak blinds?
If you have a wider opening, talk with your retailer about the inclusion of a Ziptrak® Removable Post or standard fixed post. A pelmet encloses and protects the system from weather and creatures, ensuring your blinds will look great and operates effortlessly for years. Highly recommended for blinds installed outside of the structure.
How many different colors of ziptrak are there?
Ziptrak ® aluminium componentry can be provided in 6 different colours, or powder-coated to any conceivable colour.
What are the bumpers for ziptrak roller blinds?
Ziptrak ® Standard and Large Bottom Bumpers are designed to adjust to uneven surfaces while protecting from the elements and closing the gaps effectively. Both bottom bumpers are UV-resistant for superior performance in harsh weather conditions. Alternatively, to protect the surface where the blind rest, a Small Bottom Bumper is also available.
