Honest question. I have the Dowelmax, the JessEm and several other dowel jig…………….the JessEm wins hands down in my book. It’s faster and more accurate. ive got two dowelmax tools, and they get used regularly. they are fast, extremely accurate and very easy to setup and use.
Is the Dowelmax jig an extremely accurate jig?
I’ll grant you that the Dowelmax is a well made “accurate” jig however I wouldn’t call it an “extremely accurate” jig. If Dowelmax is selling the Dowelmax jig and still promoting the use of a 9.7mm drill bit (.382″) for a 3/8″ (.375″) dowel pin it’s not “extremely accurate” in my book.
