How does AwardWallet work?
AwardWallet is designed to help tracking different loyalty accounts for you and your family. We do it by logging into the different reward accounts and retrieving your balance on your behalf. We will retrieve or calculate expiration, elite level, etc. and show this information in a single, easy to understand report.
What is AwardWallet plus?
AwardWallet is free to use, but it also offers AwardWallet Plus. For $30 a year, you get the following key benefits: Balances update at 5 times the speed. Your points expiry dates are listed in your account. You can update your balances as often as you want, rather than just twice per day.
How secure is AwardWallet?
In order to add an account to AwardWallet, you must share your login credentials, and the site includes your membership numbers on your accounts page. While the site does have secure encryption and offers two-factor authentication, you’re still at the mercy of a third party. 2. It doesn’t track all programs.
How does award wallet make money?
We primarily make money in three different ways: (1) An in-app purchase of AwardWallet Plus ($30 / year). Only about 4% of our users pay, but the ones that do really help to support the business, and even after the pandemic started, this revenue was not significantly affected. (3) AwardWallet API sales.
How do you keep track of rewards programs?
Several websites, including Traxo, AwardWallet, UsingMiles, and PointHub, keep tabs on your rewards programs for free. Other sites, such as TripIt Pro, charge a fee. Generally, these sites let you enter your account numbers and passwords for all of your loyalty programs.
Can I trust AwardWallet?
A system like Award Wallet is still good for your account security. There’s no substitute for checking your account balances regularly to identify whether any miles are disappearing.
