How do you treat PolyGloss?
Cure wood in oven at 340F for 15 minutes or 12 minutes on the press with parchment paper and silicone pad for protection using light pressure. Cure metal in oven at 320F for 10 minutes or on press for 3 minutes with silicone pad and parchment paper. If coating burns or bubbles reduce temp by 10 degrees.

PolyGloss is a 2-part, polyester resin that can be applied with common household tools. It cleans up easy with water and does not emit toxic fumes.
How do you mix Dyepress?
1 oz concentrate sample size bottle of Dyepress Poly-T sublimation coating spray. Mix 1 oz with 7 oz of purified water. INFO FROM DYEPRESS: Dyepress Poly-T will allow you to sublimate 100% cotton as long as you apply a 2nd coat of Poly-T over the sublimated image (see details below).
What happens if you put sublimation on cotton?
In the case of products that allow cotton sublimation, the resulting image will be on the surface instead of in the surface, and may crack, peel or fade over time.
Does poly t’wash out?
It does leave the area stiff after pressing but after a quick wash (always in cold water) it washes right out.

Can you use dyepress sublimation coating on ceramic?
Make sure you are getting actual Dyepress brand. It was easy to apply, easy to use and works on a wide variety of substrates. We needed to do a lot of ceramic mugs and we were tired of paying inflated prices for sublimation coated goods. Dyepress was our answer. We can now use inexpensive ceramic goods and reduce our costs significantly.
How to sublimate glass with dyepress polygloss?
1. Apply 2 thin coats of PolyGloss with catalyst to the back of the glass (allow to dry between coats). 2. Once dry, cure the coated glass at 340F for 22 minutes. 3. Once cool, sublimate your image face down over padding for 6 minutes at 400F (you may need to increase the time if the glass is more than 1/4 inch thick).
