What temp should I run my Turbo 500?

With a Turbo 500 Condenser, the water outlet temperature should sit between 55C-65C (with 60C being the ideal).
How much water does a Turbo 500 still use?
Under normal conditions the water supply will need to be about 500-600mls per minute. If the water temperature is 20°C then the water supply will need to be about 450-500mls per minute.
How do you clean a reflux still?
For a thorough clean, rinse the column with a citric acid mix (2 Tbsp citric acid to 4 L of water) then flush with water 2 or 3 times to get rid of the acid. You can also unpack your column and soak your saddles in a citric acid mix before rinsing them and placing them back into the column again.
Is a Turbo 500 still any good?
