I contacted the Volotea support, after a hard conversation, the company returned the money for the spent ticket to my account, in 2 days. Thank you Volotea. Honestly I didn’t expect them to be so fair after reviews I had read before.

Why was Volotea flight from Mykonos to Athens cancelled?
Volotea has failed to transport passengers from origin to destination. The flight from Mykonos to Athens on 6th May at 7pm was cancelled. Upon cancellation, they did not offer any backup flight on the same day or next day. After the incident, we wrote to Volotea for refund since they did not put us on the plane at all.
