Members pay to come to the Cosmos and not do business. Resident members over age 40 pay an initiation fee of $1,500 and annual dues of $1,060. Resident members under 40 pay half that much; honorary members such as Helen Hayes don’t pay at all.

Is membership of The Ned worth it?
Membership at The Ned costs a hefty £3,500 a year, so what’s it worth? Membership gets you access to the rooftop with its own restaurant, pool, terrace and epic views of St Paul’s Cathedral. The food was undoubtedly better than Soho House and the terrace is around four times the size of Shoreditch House.

Yes you can use the facilities as a guest (although when I went snow had closed the rooftop pool). You can only use the rooftop pool if you book an upgraded room category of larger or above. Cosy and medium you can use the lower level members bar and vaults but only if you book direct on the ned website.

One of the mantras of the Cosmos Club is “your home away from home” and for us that is a reason we are and continue to be members. We can entertain, host events, and just get away. We can socialize with interesting people and attend fascinating events. The public spaces have recently been renovated and updated.
