Is Griselbrand banned EDH?
Griselbrand is Banned. Sundering Titan is Banned. So Delver of Secrets, Ponder, and Snapcaster Mage will all continue to live untouched in Standard, contrary to many other writers’ opinions. In EDH/Commander, both Griselbrand and Sundering Titan got the axe, essentially for being non-interactive cards.

Competitive Commander players rejoice! The Rules Committee has decided to ban Flash from the Commander format of Magic: The Gathering, after much deliberation and input from their advisory group. Why was emrakul banned commander?
Emrakul was banned because she ended games too easily when cast. Games could be won after she was cast but it was extremely difficult to do so. When you played against an Emrakul deck she was always looming over the game and as soon as she was cast, the usually came to an end.
Why are MOX cards banned?

What happens if you put a card on the banned list?
If a card appears on the banned list for your chosen format, then you may not include that card in your deck or sideboard. Doing so makes your deck illegal to play in any sanctioned tournaments for that format. Cards are usually banned from play if they enable a deck or play style that heavily skews the play environment.
When do the banned and restricted lists change?
Announcements for changes to the Banned & Restricted lists are done all together on the Monday after a new set’s Prerelease, to go into effect with that set’s release. This way, the formats you play change as infrequently as possible.
