Can you walk around Wellesley College?
The path is owned by the college and the Hunnewell family, whose lake-side gardens have been admired and photographed for generations. College faculty, staff, and students (no guests) can still walk on Wellesley College’s portion of the lake path, and around campus, while maintaining social distance.

The Morses Pond beach in Wellesley reopens to residents only on June 8, and reservations can be made beginning on June 7 at 10am. Reservations can be made up to 72 hours in advance. There will be no lifeguards again this season, and no docks.

The invasive water weeds that clog up Morses pond are removed by the harvester in a similar fashion to “mowing a lawn”. The Town has made a great effort to clear enough of the pond so that the residents can safely swim but the harvester cannot go too close to the shallow edges of the pond.
