And in 2005, two old locomotives took their places on a promontory above I-80. The spot is named in honor of John Kenefick, retired chairman of another company that helped build Omaha, the Union Pacific Railroad. Lauritzen Gardens has developed numerous separate gardens and waterfalls on its grounds.
