What does C-Clip Eliminator do?
On your Mustang’s rear differential, the axle shaft is held in place by a small c-clip. For safety reasons, most consumers will use a c-clip eliminator. These eliminators will completely remove this internal clip and replaced it with an externally pressed on bearing to hold the axle shaft into place.
Are C-clip eliminators needed?
They are not needed, and your rear calipers work as an axle retention device out of the hole. Unless you are running 9’s or quicker, C-clip axles with disc brakes work just fine.

I have reused them on 12 bolts. It depends on if you can get to the center race with a bearing splitter to press it off. Worst case you’d have to buy a bearing. The old bearing will have a number and any bearing place will be able to get you a replacement.

Moser has a package deal on studs, retainers, and bearings that you can not beat anywhere. Even if they respline your axles you will need new bearings so factor that in as well.
