FLUID FILM® may soften some vehicle undercoatings. This includes undercoating type paints. I use FLUID FILM as an undercoating and have been very impressed with the performance. It is so good that it’s hard to wash off, even with a pressure washer.

It is not as inexpensive as some other brands when purchased in spray cans but Fluid Film is worth it. If you have smaller periodic applications then add the spray cans to your Amazon list and keep an eye on the price. $10/can seems to be the best price so far.
