AVID Elementary launched nationwide, allowing young students to develop strong academic habits early to provide the academic foundation needed to start on a path to college and career success. The AVID for Higher Education program was developed with support from Traveler’s Insurance and pilot-tested at two colleges.

Student Grades: AVID students are expected to maintain a grade of 75 or higher in all of their classes, especially in their core classes and foreign language classes. Students are required and expected to attend teacher tutorials as often as possible to keep their grades above 75.
