SNOWPIERCER is a flawed film and easy to criticise if you study it too closely. On a technical level, Joon-ho’s pacing isn’t always great and his film lacks the tension and momentum that the best of South Korean has to offer (like THE MAN FROM NOWHERE or I SAW THE DEVIL).
