When do you use Endoform dressing?
Endoform is indicated for the manage- ment of partial- and full-thickness wounds, pressure injuries, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, chronic vascular ulcers, tunneled/undermined wounds, surgical wounds, traumatic wounds and draining wounds.
How long can you wear Endoform wound dressing?
Endoform Antimicrobial dressings can be worn up to 7 days; the dressings can be applied as often as daily or as infrequently as weekly with the assurance that the device is protected from a range of clinically relevant microbes for up to 7 days.
Is Endoform the same as collagen?
Endoform™ products are 85% collagen and 15% important secondary molecules, including structural and adhesion proteins, and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs).
Does Endoform dissolve?
Endoform®’s unique ECM stays intact in the wound bed unless wound proteases are elevated. Reconstituted collagens do not have an intact, natural ECM. These products dissolve or gel within a day, regardless of wound protease levels and cannot indicate the balance of proteases.
How do you apply a Endoform to a wound?
For ease of handling, apply Endoform® Natural by placing the dry material in the wound and rehydrating with exudate or sterile saline until moistened. Ensure that Endoform® Natural conforms to the underlying wound bed. When rehydrated, Endoform® Natural transforms into a soft conforming sheet.

Do you moisten Hydrofera Blue ready?
As with many wound care dressings, moisture balance is key. If the dressing is dry, thoroughly remoisten with sterile saline or sterile water, then gently remove the dressing. Moisten the tip with sterile saline or sterile water to aid with ease of insertion.
How do I activate Hydrofera blue?
Gently insert the moistened end of the dressing (softened) into the wound tunnel or sinus. If necessary you may use a rigid swab to help guide it into place. After insertion, add a few drops of sterile saline or sterile water to the end of the dressing until moist. Trim the dressing as needed.
Which side of Hydrofera Blue goes on the wound?
Apply the dressing with the foam side towards the wound and shiny film side up. Secure the dressing using a bandage or a tape over the film surface.
