Our Instant Replacement plan means you’ll be supported if your product breaks down due to an electrical or mechanical fault. Instant means instant. If your product breaks down, we’ll give you a new one on the spot.
How long does a Currys repair take?
7 calendar days
To get you back up and running quickly, where we are dealing with the fault, we aim to repair products within 7 calendar days.
Does Currys knowhow cover accidental damage?
Care & Repair is not an insurance policy and is an extended warranty plan only. We do NOT cover for accidental damage, cosmetic damage, loss or theft. There is usually an excess charge on a home insurance to any claims made.
How do I claim my Currys warranty?

With a Repair & Support Plan you’ll benefit from a 7 day repair promise, unlimited repairs and you’ll never pay a penny more – all parts, labour and call out charges are included. You have the option to pay once for 3 or 5 years protection or you can choose to pay as you go.

Does warranty cover accidental damage?
Warranties often don’t include cover for accidental damage or wear and tear or you have to pay extra for this. They may also not apply if you use the product for something other than it is intended and they may only cover certain things (for example, parts only, not labour).
What does Currys policy cover?
If we’re unable to repair your product, we’ll give you a Currys voucher to get a new one. If we can’t repair your product, or it develops an electrical or mechanical fault after we repair it twice, you can ask for a Currys voucher so you can get a replacement product in one of our stores. We’ll pay for it all.
What is accidental damage on TV?
Accidental Damage cover means the cost of repair to or replacement of your TV following physical damage as a result of a sudden and unforeseen cause which stops the equipment working will be covered by your TV insurance.

What happens if I cancel my Currys PC World plan?
If you have made a repair request or wish to cancel after the first 45 days, you will receive a pro rata refund of the Plan payments you have paid based on the number of full unexpired months of cover remaining. You are entitled to unlimited replacements during the 3 years of your Plan.
When do I need to use instant replacement?
If your product breaks down due to an electrical or mechanical fault. You’re entitled to as many new replacement products as necessary during the 3 years of your plan, and your plan will continue as usual even if your product is replaced. Instant Replacement excludes accidental and cosmetic damage of the product.
How long does an instant replacement warranty last?
Protection for 3 years. Most products come with a 1 year guarantee as standard – Instant Replacement gives you 3 years. No limits. You are entitled to as many new replacement products as necessary during the 3 years.
Who is the Administrator of the instant replacement plan?
