What is an outfeed stand?
An outfeed table is one of those pieces of equipment in a workshop that can make all the difference for someone who uses their table saw a lot. It’s simply a platform, typically in the form of some sort of table, that catches or supports the wood being cut as it moves along the saw blade.
How much lower should outfeed table be?
Depending on where I roll the table saw and outfeed table the difference in heights place the outfeed table 1/8 inch below to 1/8 inch above the table saw.
Can you use PVC pipe as a roller?
PVC pipe is the perfect progression when soft foam isn’t enough. You can grab a 6-inch-wide PVC pipe and get it cut to any length at your local hardware store for less than $10. Use the PVC pipe just like a regular foam roller, targeting areas like the upper back, lats, quads and IT bands.
How do you make a foam roller out of PVC pipe?
Foam Roller Instructions:
- Cut a 24-inch length of 4 inch PVC pipe.
- Roll the yoga mat or other covering out on the floor and place the pipe at one end.
- Use a sharp scissors or a utility knife to cut the mat at this place.
- Wrap the cut piece of yoga mat around the PVC and tape along this line with duct tape.

How do you install out feed rollers on a planer?
